GovernanceNow.com was created using a highly sophisticated, agile and streamlined process. We consulted with the client extensively over several months and started with creating an fleshed out online strategy, developed a comprehensive information architecture, locked down features and functional specifications, designed the UI and UX and finally implemented a highly scalable and modular system using the Drupal 6 CMS framework.

An internal editorial work-flow process and training modules were devised for the GovNow team to ensure that the everyday updating of the site becomes a smooth and error-free process, especially for reporters and editors who come from a non-tech background. With more than 20 reporters filing some 50 stories everyday, this internal process was as important as the site itself.
